Seaside Beaders

The Azure Verde Seaside Beaders is a special interest group that meets the First Friday of each month, except in January. We meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church (see our Venue Locations page).

The objective of the group is primarily to learn seed beading techniques. We also have bead Show & Tell before every meeting.

You must be a member of the Azure Verde Chapter to participate in the Seaside Beaders Special Interest Group.

Some of our past projects include beaded bracelets and necklaces, beaded vessels, pencil toppers, boxes, and covered tins.

Several of our projects have used bead embroidery to make boxes, cuff bracelets and more.

Some of the bead techniques we have explored are peyote, brick stitch, herringbone stitch, cubic right angle weave, circular peyote, peyote with a twist (not bead crochet), and other spiral stitches such as Russian and Dutch Spirals.
